I took the Luopan out of my backpack. The needle suddenly sank, then began spinning frantically.

A sinking needle, known as a Sinking Needle, means the yin energy here is stagnant-living here brings discomfort.

A spinning needle, called the Spinning Needle, points to unresolved resentment in the area-remaining here can harm people.

I walked a circle around the four corner pillars. The Luopan’s pointer spun ever faster. I frowned, my expression serious.

Huazhou Junting was the most famous luxury villa in A City. Its biggest selling point was the feng shui. It was said that the developer had hired a feng shui master from Hong Kong, claiming the site was embraced by mountains and rivers, gathering energy-a rare feng shui treasure. The wealthy ate it up, and prices soared.

On my way here, I checked it out myself-the southeast had a mountain backing, a river wound through the northwest. The feng shui really was good.

But in the Jiang Family’s house, the Evil Energy was so intense that it was obviously the result of another formation. And the person who set it up wasn’t a novice-they were skilled.

My classmates were still chatting happily. Madam Jiang and Jiang Haoyan both trailed behind me, wanting to speak but worried about interrupting.

“Um, Master Qiao, do you need anything else?” Madam Jiang asked carefully.

I shook my head, glanced at my phone. “Have everyone in your family go to the northeast room on the second floor. Who lives in that room? Someone broke their leg there a few days ago, right?”

Jiang Haoyan gasped. “Damn, Qiao Moyu, you’re incredible!”

Madam Jiang shot him a sharp glare. “Mind your manners! Master Qiao, the child’s still young and doesn’t know better-please forgive him.”

I looked up at the tall, strapping Jiang Haoyan and nodded. “Why would I take offense at someone younger than me?”

Madam Jiang led us to the stairs. Even the staircase in the Jiang Family’s living room was a highlight-a wide, circular platform rose at the center, with two stairways winding left and right up to the second floor.

When we started upstairs, all our classmates’ eyes locked onto us.

“No way, Jiang Haoyan’s mom just invited Qiao Moyu to a bedroom upstairs!”

“One of the staff just told us going up to the second floor is strictly forbidden. Mother Jiang really values Qiao Moyu-is this her official approval of their relationship? What about Lou Qianqian?”
