By the time the two of us rushed down to the first-floor living room, chaos had already erupted.

Ling Ling was waving a fruit knife around, cackling wildly as she slashed at anyone nearby.

Our classmates screamed and scattered in panic, trying desperately to avoid her. Lou Qianqian was pale with fright, her face devoid of color.

“Call the police, someone call the police-Help! Somebody, please!”

I signaled for Master Chen’s two assistants to jump in and take control of the situation, while I quickly laid out a simple exorcism array in the living room with a handful of copper coins.

“All the guys, get inside the circle! Ladies, move over to the couch!”

I directed everyone to stand in their designated spots according to the formation. Then, I pulled out the Five Thunders Token, my eyes locked nervously on Ling Ling.

The Lou Family’s situation was different from the Jiang Family’s. They didn’t have a Soul-Sealing Array, so the Deadly Curse could easily break loose from here.

If we couldn’t contain it now and let it escape, who knew how many more murders might happen outside?

“Chen Zhen, keep her occupied. Make it look like you’re the underdog-don’t make her think you’re too strong. I’m setting up a formation to trap it inside the Lou Family.”

The highest-level trapping formation was called the Net of Heaven and Earth.

I hurriedly dug out a spool of ink cord from my bag and began weaving the array at breakneck speed.

While Master Chen battled it out with Ling Ling, he was dodging for dear life, barely keeping himself together. I couldn’t help but praise him.

“Nice performance.”

Master Chen was panting and disheveled, clothes practically in tatters.

He let out a miserable cry, just as Ling Ling tackled him to the ground. Right then, the formation was complete-a harsh cold light flashed through the house, several streaks of lightning flickered across the air.

Everyone froze. The classmates stared in shock:

“My whole worldview just got flipped.”

The class president shook his head.

“I feel like something just broke… Oh, right, it was my belief in science.”
