I’ve been a Constable for twenty years, and this is the first time I’ve come across a case I can’t crack.
The Eastern Garrison Army Messenger stayed in the so-called haunted manor, and died suddenly overnight.
The Coroner said there were no signs of poisoning, the doors and windows were locked from the inside, and there were no wounds on the body.
We were at our wits’ end, poring over the case files,
when we realized that among the previous owners of the manor, one was still alive.
But before we could finish discussing it, another Constable came to report that this person had just died.
Could it really be a ghost committing murder?
It wasn’t until even the Coroner died…
