Chapter 8
Day eight, period fully gone.
Shen Zhe and Shen Kuo alternated meals.
I ate everything, no wasted effort.
More cautious: no keys in room, phones outside, lid locked in/out.
But even cautious slip.
Night fell; both stayed.
Meant one carried key.
Feigning calm on bedhead, eyes scanned them subtly.
“Not scared?” Shen Kuo chuckled, scorching gaze on me, half-smile.
“Would it help?” I met eyes from bedhead.
“Learning obedience now.” Shen Kuo reached, rough pad over lips, leaving heat.
Knowing what came, I relaxed oddly, blood thrilling.
I watched indifferently as they unchained, pulled male tie from pocket to bind.
No struggle—or plan to.
Glance lingered on southwest cage.
All poised, I spoke suddenly.
“I have more exciting way—dare try?” Timed provocation.
Men paused.
Shen Kuo, forehead sweaty, voice extra hoarse. “What?”
I pointed cage. “There—can’t waste your prep, right?”
Shen Kuo’s pupils darkened, red eyes lust and gloom, like caged beast. “Bold.”
He reached to carry; Shen Zhe beat him.
Former’s eyes shadowed, displeased.
Shen Zhe carried me toward cage.
Heart pounded, something inside breaking free.
Cage design: high inside, low out—tall inside, short out.
Usually calm Shen Kuo first lost control, rough hands pulling me.
I resisted, clinging Shen Zhe, tears welling.
“Bro, you scared her.” Shen Zhe frowned, dodging with me.
Former snorted. “Don’t forget—I brought her.”
“She’s my girlfriend.”
“So what.”
…
Shen Kuo raged, grabbed; I faked scared cry.
Shen Zhe refused; they fought in cage, punches flying.
I huddled corner faking fear, actually edging out.
Till crisp lock click; they stopped barely.
Shen Zhe losing, reactions slow from hits.
Shen Kuo first: face bruised, beauty intact.
“Jin Yao, advise no waste—even locked cage, no basement key, can’t escape.”
He stared leisurely, waiting compromise.
“Yao Yao, futile.” Shen Zhe added.
Ignored, took chain end, looped through hollow lock ring, tied other to bed frame.
Done, dangled key before them.
“Who says I don’t?” Arms crossed, cold laugh.
Shen Kuo’s gaze chilled. “Where’d you get key?”
Wouldn’t say—got three years ago.
No answer, straightened clothes. “Enjoy.”
Out basement, grabbed lid’s big lock, secured exit.
Scanned room, spotted Shen Kuo’s black phone on desk.
Powered off, opened, snapped SIM, tossed fireplace—fluid motion.
Flames leaped, crackling.
Downstairs, found Shen Zhe’s phone on living room table.
Password: my birthday.
Logged his email, sent resignation to boss, then canceled number.
Back to work routine, life normalized.
Colleagues occasionally gossiped why no boyfriend lately.
I smiled: work busy. They dropped it.
Days: diligent worker; nights: home teasing kittens.
Food by cage.
Didn’t care if ate—eventually would.
