Chapter 7
Escape failed.
Mainly, I underestimated Shen Kuo’s perversion.
Who’d guess he’d hide in car to catch me…
Dragged back.
But new place.
Locked in lightless basement.
“Yao Yao so bad? How to punish best?”
Shen Kuo’s sharp gaze like gentle blade, voice poison-cold, clashing with his faint creamy scent.
He clamped my hands tight.
Skin raw, I cursed. “You two perverts—let go!”
Shen Kuo unannoyed, stroked cheek. “You’re bad—this is escape punishment.”
Angry and scared, I looked pleadingly to Shen Zhe.
He shook head, voice flat. “Yao Yao, you promised no running. Liars get punished.”
I wanted to curse but held for safety.
They left; entry locked with thud.
Noticed top round thick iron lid opened/closed silently—padded for soundproofing.
Scanning: less basement, more studio apartment.
Furnished fully, no sharp edges—prepared long ago, awaiting occupant.
Obviously, me.
Glance southwest: high black cloth mound caught eye.
Dragged heavy chain slowly, trembling hand lifted cloth.
Under: odd round iron cage, inner high outer low, person-height, fit three adults.
Lock: hollow closed ring—once shut, outside open only.
Back to bedhead, I stared motionless long.
Dim light, half face shadowed, expression hidden.
Cage for whom?
I smirked silently.
Hard to say.
