Chapter 4
Shen Zhe left, and Shen Kuo came with a bowl of porridge.
He sat on the bed, trying to feed me.
I knocked it over with a crash—the bowl shattered, hot congee with preserved egg and lean pork splashing on him.
Steam rose from his white shirt, but he seemed painless, not even frowning.
Crazier than I’d thought.
Unexpectedly, he didn’t get angry. He changed clothes, returned with another bowl.
I knocked it over again, protesting silently.
After the third time, ripples finally stirred in his deep, still eyes.
He yanked the chain at the bedhead, immobilizing my limbs completely.
He force-fed me the porridge, then released the chain satisfied, handing me warm water and pills.
When I didn’t move, he smirked, his rough fingertip grinding my chin. “So disobedient? Want me to feed you?”
I didn’t grasp how twisted that was, just knew I couldn’t back down. Defiantly, I splashed the water on him.
His patience snapped, face darkening.
He lowered his lashes, scoffing. “If you’re disobedient, I’ll feed you myself.”
I glared defiantly, daring him.
Next second, Shen Kuo popped the pills in his mouth, gulped water, and pressed down on me.
So fast, I had no time to react—especially chained.
He gripped my waist, easily prying my mouth open, transferring the water and pills. I swallowed unwillingly.
Goal achieved, but he didn’t let go.
I pounded him futilely as he intensified.
With my fever, I had little strength, eventually just enduring.
As oxygen ran out in my chest, he slowly released.
Noses touching, the room’s intimacy peaked.
Cheeks flushed from lack of air, I gasped.
Shen Kuo’s Adam’s apple moved, smirking unsatisfied, voice hoarse. “Try being disobedient again.”
I wiped my mouth desperately, stunned by his shamelessness.
I called him a beast in sheep’s clothing, worse than an animal. He didn’t anger.
Instead, he smiled playfully, listening to my rant before leaving.
Defeated, I leaned against the bedhead, underestimating his perversion again.
Recalling yesterday’s details, something felt off.
I’d eaten plenty of boozy chocolates before without such strong effects—unless…
In a flash, I thought of those juices.
Everyone ate the food, so it must be the drinks.
Before drinking, my head just ached; after, I was dizzy—clearly wrong.
It hit me: from the start, Shen Zhe gave me the chocolates on purpose, and the table juices were spiked…
They’d teamed up to trap me.
I sighed, leaning back.
Not a single normal person in this house.
