“So that’s what the Pendant is for.”
Bai Cancan put down the floorboard, and we sat back down in the basement.
I said, “No wonder he risked his life to get his hands on the Pendant.”
Bai Cancan said worriedly, “He called out that girl’s name just now, right? I wonder if only a real name can trigger the danger conversion, or if a fake name works too?”

The Sugar Plum Fairy hopped over, heading straight for Ye Tiancheng, and asked, “Did you find the candy I like?”
Ye Tiancheng shook his head, looking extremely pained, and even forced out a tear: “Are you going to kill us?”
That tear struck the girl’s heart.
The Sugar Plum Fairy clutched her chest and dramatically leaned against the wall. “Originally, when the sun rose today and you hadn’t found the candy, I was going to kill you all. But, but now I’ve decided to give you another chance. Before noon-by 12 o’clock-you must find the candy I like. Otherwise, I’ll turn you all into my syrup~”
After saying this, as if afraid Ye Tiancheng would use his handsome face to charm her again, she quickly disappeared before our eyes.
