“Professor Qi.” Jian Fan also stood up.

Qi Shuping was currently standing beside them with a smile, flanked by Xu Tian and Qian Xing.

“Everyone, please sit,” Qi Shuping said with a smile. She then took a seat in an empty chair nearby, and Xu Tian and Qian Xing followed suit.

Eight Players were gathered together once again.

Xia Zeqin and Lin Junruo were still nowhere to be seen.

If Qin Nan hadn’t known that there was something strange about Xia Zeqin, he would have truly suspected that the two of them had already been obliterated by the game world.

“I remember there are two other Players. Have they still not shown up?” Qi Shuping asked.

Hearing this, Qian Xing quickly replied, “They’re in a Private Room. It’s about time; they should be appearing soon.”

Qi Shuping nodded upon hearing this. “As long as they’re alright.”

While they were speaking, the music in the Bar suddenly stopped. A young man wearing a floral shirt stepped onto the Bar’s stage under the flickering lights.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.” The man spoke into the microphone, his voice instantly echoing throughout the Bar.

The eight of them stopped their conversation and turned their gaze toward the center of the stage.

“Tonight, our Bar will be hosting a special Theme Party: Vampire’s Carnival. The party will begin promptly at nine o’clock. Everyone can collect a mask from the Bar staff for free,” the man said with a smile.

Vampire’s Carnival.

Jian Fan’s brows furrowed.

This Theme Party was far too coincidental.

The man continued.

“Guests who receive a Vampire Mask can choose any guest in the Bar and give them the Embrace.” As the man spoke, he made a wide-mouthed biting motion before continuing, “Guests who mind can leave before nine o’clock. For those who stay, tonight’s drinks are on the house. Let the carnival begin, Vampires!” With that, the man raised the hand holding the microphone.

The band behind him immediately began playing music in coordination.

The Bar below instantly erupted into a frenzy.

Soon, people began asking the staff for masks, while others left in groups. As for Qin Nan and the others…

Their expressions were all quite grim.

They couldn’t leave the Bar, which meant they had to participate in this Bar party. At first glance, there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with this Theme Party, but once they associated it with the world they were in-

“Give us one each,” Qi Shuping said, looking up at the staff member with a smile.

The staff member immediately took out eight masks and handed them to the group one by one. Afterward, he left to continue distributing masks to the next table.

“We can’t leave the Bar, so we can only stay and participate in the party. The masks are a necessity,” Qi Shuping explained to the others.

Everyone actually understood this in their hearts, but truthfully, no one wanted to play this game. Being in the Realm of Death was frustrating enough; now they had to play along with this Vampire’s Carnival? Wasn’t this just bullying them?

“Perhaps I’m to blame for this,” Qi Shuping continued.

Qi Shuping gave a somewhat apologetic smile. “It was likely my rash move that drew their attention. Or perhaps they’re looking for revenge.” At this, Qi Shuping sighed. “I was careless and exposed myself.”

Qin Nan understood.

Qi Shuping had eliminated Wang Hao and his companion. While that removed an immediate threat, it naturally signaled a message to the other Vampires.

The development was logical. Today’s Vampire-themed Theme Party wasn’t held for no reason; it was a countermeasure taken by the Vampires after realizing that an outsider had intruded and killed their own.

This made the Vampire Theme Party even more dangerous.

“It was only a matter of time,” Jian Fan said. “We should be thanking you, Professor Qi, for being able to get rid of Wang Hao and the other one.”

They were bound to clash with the Vampires eventually. Either they would eliminate the Vampires, or they would be wiped out themselves. As long as they survived, they would have been targeted by the other Vampires sooner or later. At the very least, Qi Shuping had uncovered a vital piece of information for them.

The Vampires in this world were afraid of silver.

Qi Shuping smiled. She took the initiative to slide a Silver Bracelet off her wrist, took Jian Fan’s hand, and placed it in his palm.

“Professor Qi?” Jian Fan was somewhat surprised.

Lin Junruo hurriedly stood up with him.
