I am 501.
Opposite me is 502.
502 is occupied by a man in his thirties.
Single and unmarried, I don’t know exactly what he does for work-he might be in IT, or perhaps a game streamer. He’s quite a homebody and rarely goes out. He seems a bit socially anxious, maybe an introvert like me.
Occasionally, I run into him in the elevator.
He almost always stands quietly in the farthest corner with his head down.
But he’s a pretty nice guy. Sometimes, when he sees the trash I’ve left by my door and haven’t had time to take out, he’ll take it downstairs for me.
Property Management knocked on the door a few times, and soon a man in pajamas with messy hair opened it. The two of them spoke at the doorway.
Afterwards, Property Management was led inside by the Guy Opposite.
With a bang, the door closed.
The hallway returned to silence.
