Chapter 3

Just yesterday, Sunday, I was planning to go camping at Nanhu Lake with my wife to relax.

But that second-year graduate girl was so clingy, insisting on having some Japanese sashimi.

She even said she had learned some incredible new techniques and wanted me to try them out.

I lost my head for a moment and was tempted by her.

So I lied to my wife, telling her I was going fishing with Jiang Tao.

Originally, there was no way this would have been exposed, but I never expected Jiang Tao to be so stupid.

He ruined everything by talking too much.

My wife was obviously angry, her face red and neck bulging, grabbing my phone to start checking for other clues.

I couldn’t help but lose my temper.

“Are you crazy? What’s wrong with you?”

My wife suddenly turned to look at me, her eyes instantly red.

“I’m crazy? You’re calling me crazy? Are you feeling guilty because you’ve done something wrong?”

“Didn’t you say you went fishing with Jiang Tao yesterday? Why did you lie? Are you seeing someone else? Who is she?”

I was extremely annoyed and turned to leave.

“Think whatever you want, what does it matter to you? You might as well spend the rest of your life clinging to my phone. Damn it.”

I slammed the door and left.

Went downstairs to find my car, started it, and drove off in one go.
