Lin Shishi finally became the center of attention, just as she had always wanted.
She had craved the spotlight, longing to be the protagonist in everyone’s eyes.
She succeeded.
In the viral video sitting at the top of the trending charts, she was seen scurrying through the mall in a white dress stained with excrement, looking both pathetic and ridiculous.
Even though she covered her face and hid behind her hair, making it impossible to see her features clearly, the video didn’t end there.
At the very end, a girl in fresh, clean clothes walked out of the restroom. The bracelet on her wrist and the color of her nails were identical to those of the filthy girl from before.
Lin Shishi didn’t dare go back to school.
Perhaps she remembered the criticism and the stares I had endured after she secretly circulated photos of her bullying me among our classmates.

“Even though you’re such a mess, I’m still willing to be with you!”
This sudden bit of sweetness was like a soul-stealing poison.

After the video went viral, her background was completely exposed.
The ridicule spread like wildfire, eventually reaching the Lin Group.

When a wall starts to crumble, everyone gives it a push. Those who had once mocked me suddenly began to condemn Lin Shishi with righteous indignation, even speculating that my death was linked to her.
As public outcry intensified, her father finally resolved to exile this troublemaker.
Even the friends who used to be inseparable from her scrambled to cut ties, terrified of being dragged down with her.
Only my brother remained.

But my brother pushed her away, covering his nose. “Why do you still smell so bad?”
