I’ve been dating Shen Yutong for five years. He has the face of a manga protagonist, but he’s a total idiot twenty-four-seven.
For example, when I’m on my period, he knows I’m in a bad mood and tries to cheer me up.
His method? Reading Naruto manga to me.
But I don’t even like Naruto!
That doesn’t stop him, though. He gets so hyped up reading it that he can’t stop.
Then there’s the gaming. Whenever we play together, he always loses to me.
Eventually, he got so frustrated that he spent afternoon after afternoon practicing, but he still lost.
When he was done losing and feeling grumpy, he’d just pick up a volume of Naruto and start reading aloud again!
“Baby, do you want to hear the story of how Uzumaki Naruto saved Konohagakure?”
Back then, hearing those words would give me a massive headache!
“Whoa, all my manga is still here!”
My ghost boyfriend was staring at my bookshelf.
Sitting there were several sets of manga he had bought while he was still alive.
