The next second, the world spun around me.

I, along with the other Bait, had already arrived at the safe zone on the outskirts of the Zombies.

Meanwhile, those Ability Users who had originally been standing in the safe zone suddenly appeared in the middle of the Level 5 Zombie horde, exactly where the Bait had been standing before.

I didn’t target all the Ability Users-there’s always a culprit behind every injustice. Whoever sent us in, would be the one to swap places with us.

Cries of anguish echoed from within the Zombie horde: “Ahhh! How did I end up here?!”

Those who reacted quickly had already started using their Superpowers to fight the Zombies, while the slower ones could only have their throats bitten through in an instant.

In less than three minutes, the Zombie army had grown considerably.

And Chen Shu had also swapped places with me.

Her pretty little face was suddenly as colorful as a palette, as if she couldn’t believe that just a moment ago she’d been in Shen Ye’s arms, and now she was in the middle of a Zombie horde.

Shen Ye was equally unprepared, and was sent flying by a kick from me as I suddenly appeared in his arms.

“Captain, let’s hurry and save Shuer!” The Ability Users in the Team grabbed Shen Ye in their panic and charged into the Level 5 Zombie horde.

Shen Ye turned back, glaring fiercely at me, gritting his teeth as he said, “Chen Hua, you’re not allowed to leave! Once I save Shuer, I’ll settle the score with you!”

Only a fool would stay-I’m no fool.

Behind me, all kinds of Superpowers intertwined in chaos, and every Team was thrown into disorder.

No one cared about us Bait anymore. Compared to us, saving rare Ability Users like Chen Shu was obviously more important.

I slowly walked toward an empty car, ready to leave, when my parents-who hadn’t gone to the battlefield to fight Zombies-ran toward me.

As they ran, they shouted, “Chen Hua! How dare you do this to your sister? You’re nothing but a useless waste-your only value is to exchange your life for Crystal Cores for your sister! Stop! You stop right there!”

Parents like these are better left behind.

I had no time to argue with them. I had just used up a huge amount of energy for the Swap, and the Power of Linguistic Sorcery I’d painstakingly recovered was now completely exhausted. My whole body felt on the verge of collapse.

If I didn’t leave now, once Shen Ye was free, I definitely wouldn’t be able to get away.

Staggering, I climbed into the car, just about to drive off, when a Heterochromatic Boy suddenly blocked my way.

He looked about seventeen or eighteen, holding the hand of a Little Girl around seven or eight years old.

Both of them were Bait I had just saved.

Enemies? I glanced at the Ability Users fighting Zombies at the rear of the car. It seemed they were from one of those Teams.

Behind the boy stood the people I had saved.
