“Hurry up and take off her clothes, snap some photos and post them online. Let everyone see how shameless she looks.”

In the damp restroom, I was pinned to the ground and beaten by several people.

Leading them was none other than the School Belle, Bai Ruolan, the ringleader of the bullying.

Her two cronies-one was tearing at my clothes, while the other held up a phone, starting to take pictures of me.

Despairing, I looked around, praying for someone to come and save me.

Suddenly, outside the nearby windowsill, a pair of pitch-black eyes appeared. My heart leapt with hope.

But before I could call for help, Bai Ruolan had already grabbed my hair and shoved my disheveled self toward the mop sink.

Caught off guard, I was forced to swallow several mouthfuls of filthy water.

Just as I thought I might drown in that basin, two soft coughs sounded at the restroom door.

Following that was a voice, cold yet tinged with anger:

“Bai Ruolan, Shi Min, Zhong Jingjing, what are you doing? Stop it, right now!”

With my hair wet and reeking, I turned my head and met Teacher Li’s gloomy eyes.

I was saved.

When Teacher Li saw the state I was in, she grew even angrier.

“Cheng Miao is the new transfer student, and she’s your roommate. How could you bully her?”

The two cronies hurried to defend themselves: “Teacher Li, we weren’t bullying her. Cheng Miao just accidentally fell into the basin, we were helping her.”

Bai Ruolan pursed her lips, switching her demeanor, her beautiful face now showing a pitiful expression:

“Teacher, if I bullied a classmate, I’ll get hit by a car and die tomorrow!”
