Chapter 6
Chapter 6
After finishing the barbecue that evening, everyone headed back to the hotel to rest.
We were staying in standard rooms, two people to a room.
Since we were near the coast, the scenery was beautiful.
After showering, I called Jiang Chen, wanting to go for a stroll along the beach with him.
But the call didn’t go through.
I knew his room number, so I went directly to knock on his door.
However, it was Pei Ze who answered.
“Is Jiang Chen here?”
“He’s out.”
“Where did he go?”
“Not sure.”
Pei Ze looked like he had just finished showering; he was still holding a towel and drying his hair.
I didn’t want to bother him further, so I nodded and hurried away.
Jiang Chen’s phone was still unreachable.
I couldn’t help but feel a bit puzzled. It was the middle of the night-where could he have gone?
But I soon found my answer.
On my way back to my room, I ran into a hotel staff member who mentioned there was a performance by the backyard pool.
I intended to go join the fun, but behind a pillar, I saw Jiang Chen holding a woman, kissing her passionately.
That person was Lin Yue.
My steps halted instinctively, as if my feet had been filled with lead.
“Jiang Chen, do you like me?”
“Of course.”
“Compared to Wen Ruan?”
“She can’t compare to you. She’s like a block of wood when we kiss; I can’t even get in the mood.”
Hearing Jiang Chen’s words, Lin Yue laughed.
“I was so angry earlier when you ignored me right in front of her.”
“Well, aren’t I making it up to you properly now?”
The two of them giggled and flirted, the atmosphere thick with intimacy.
Lin Yue snuggled into Jiang Chen’s chest and teased, “What if she finds out you’re doing this?”
“Don’t worry. She won’t.”
“You’re that confident?”
“She’s very naive. She’s easy to fool.”
“You really are a bad man.”
“If I weren’t bad, you wouldn’t like me.”
With that, Jiang Chen kissed Lin Yue again, acting as if no one else existed.
I had always thought Jiang Chen was the person who treated me best in the world.
A perfect, hundred-percent boyfriend.
The one person who would absolutely never betray me.
But as it turned out, it was all a lie.
Everything was nothing more than an illusion he had meticulously presented to me!
Tears blurred my eyes as I clenched my fists in fury.
But just as I was about to step forward and confront them on the spot, I suddenly changed my mind.

Kissing My Boyfriend’s Roommate in Secret
My boyfriend was acting strange while we were getting intimate.
I was wearing the lace lingerie he’d been looking forward to for so long, yet he wouldn’t even touch me.
