Chen Shu paused for a moment.

He closed his eyes briefly.

Opening them again, he continued speaking.

“So, I calmed down. I sat on the chair, and he told me he was my future self. Not just him-there was another future self as well.”

“The person who looked exactly like me pointed to someone sitting on a stool next to him-a headless man dressed all in black!”

“He even smiled smugly, saying that if I didn’t obey, I’d end up like him-turned into a dish!”

“Then, he put the gun on the table. It was at that moment I realized something was wrong with the gun!”

“I saw a tiny line of engraving near the magazine: XX Toy.”

“Have you ever seen a real gun with that kind of engraving? It was a fake imitation toy gun. He was bluffing!”

“So, I stood up and rushed at him, swinging my fist hard at his head. But I didn’t expect him to stand up too and punch me in the head. His punch was really heavy!”

“And then?”

Everyone in the Interrogation Room asked in unison.

Their eyes were fixed on Chen Shu, as if they were truly engrossed in a story, listening with curiosity.

Chen Shu shrugged and said, “Then, I was knocked out… When I woke up again, it was almost dawn, and he was gone.”

“There was a briefcase next to me, with a note on top.”

The note read: Chen Shu, The Game Begins!

Han Xue and Lu Fan exchanged glances.

Han Xue looked at Chen Shu: “So, you were afraid that if you reported to the police, all the evidence would point to you. Even if you said you weren’t the murderer, we’d still list you as a suspect.”

Chen Shu nodded: “So, if I want you to believe me, I have to take away the corpse of my other self and hide it, and let you police properly investigate the real murderer-‘Chen Shu!'”

Lu Fan looked at Chen Shu with a complicated expression, as if pondering something.

“But why did he show up at the First Crime Scene again?”

“Didn’t you say he disappeared?”

Chen Shu scratched his head, a bit confused: “I don’t know why he appeared at the First Crime Scene again.”

Suddenly!

The door of the Interrogation Room was pushed open by a Police Officer, and everyone looked toward the doorway.

“Captain Han, Captain Lu, someone… someone is here to see you!”

Right after, a man dressed all in black, wearing sunglasses and a mask, walked in behind the Police Officer.

He took off his mask and sunglasses.

He had a gentle smile, but it somehow felt chilling.

When everyone saw his face, they were all stunned.

Because that face was so familiar!

He looked exactly like Chen Shu, who was sitting in the Interrogation Room with his hands and feet cuffed!

Chen Shu, sitting in the Interrogation Room, suddenly understood something.

A sense of danger rose from deep within him.

Had he… never actually left the room?

And now, the “Chen Shu” who looked exactly like him had already walked in.

He walked up to everyone, then smiled at Chen Shu.

“Good evening, Uncle Police! My name is Chen Shu. He’s lying!”

Wasn’t this the previous “Chen Shu”?

The atmosphere instantly became eerie.

At that moment, everyone had the same thought: who was the real murderer?

And whose words were true?

Lu Fan was so frustrated he nearly exploded!

“Damn it, which one of you is the murderer?”
And the two of them answered in unison.

“I told you, I’m not the murderer!”

The standing “Chen Shu” looked at Chen Shu, whose hands and feet were shackled with gloves and leg irons.

“Why were you carrying a knife when the police arrested you?”

“Also, there was only an ordinary Kitchen Knife at the crime scene. Do you think an ordinary Kitchen Knife could sever the heads of eleven people?”

The female forensic doctor standing to the side suddenly thought of something, her gaze suspicious as she looked at Chen Shu, who was sitting at the interrogation table.

“Right, I was in a hurry and forgot just now. The small Fruit Knife found on you is not made of ordinary material!”

Lu Fan anxiously looked at the female forensic doctor: “Lin Ying, what material is it made of?”

Lin Ying looked at Chen Shu with a grave expression: “That knife is made from a mixture of Obsidian and Shell Material. If it’s used to cut human skin, it would be as fragile as tofu, and even bones could be easily severed!”

Everyone at the scene stared at Chen Shu in unison, their eyes full of suspicion.

Xiao Gao looked at Chen Shu, who was sitting at the interrogation table. His eyes flickered as if he thought of something, and then he looked at the standing “Chen Shu”.

He walked out of the Interrogation Room.

“Wait a minute, I’ll go get something.”

Chen Shu sat at the interrogation table, watching as everyone’s expressions became increasingly strange.

Among them, “Chen Shu” revealed a strange smile as he looked at him.

This feeling was like being watched as a monkey in a zoo.

The police rely on evidence, and now this knife had become the evidence of his crime.

He raised his head and looked around at everyone: “Does having a knife on me make me the murderer?”

“And my knife is only for saving people, not for killing!”

Chen Shu retorted.

His words caused the standing “Chen Shu” to sneer: “What if your knife is the murder weapon?”

“…”

Chen Shu didn’t speak, but his face had already darkened, his gaze sharp as he looked at “Chen Shu”.

Chen Shu understood now. This person who looked exactly like him had deliberately knocked him out, knew he would run, and would even take a corpse with him.

And he had also… swapped his knife with Chen Shu’s.

In other words, the knife found on him by the police was the murder weapon that killed eleven people!

And this knife was now the evidence used to accuse him.

He glanced at the handcuffs on his wrists, thinking about how to get out of this and how to explain.

But right now, no one believed either of them. The police wanted evidence.

At this moment, “Chen Shu” saw that Chen Shu was speechless, turned to look at Lu Fan and Han Xue.

“Officer Lu, Officer Han, you must catch this murderer and execute him by firing squad as soon as possible.”

‘Chen Shu’ nodded vigorously in agreement: “He is the murderer, this is the real murderer!”

Lu Fan, Han Xue, and Lin Ying exchanged glances, and the other members of the Criminal Investigation Team began to discuss among themselves.

At this moment, Xiao Gao pushed open the interrogation room door, walked in, and whispered a few words.

“What does this drawing mean?”

Xiao Gao walked in and handed the drawing directly to the standing “Chen Shu”.

“Right, Chen Shu No. 2… or Chen Shu No. 1, forget it, whatever.”

“What exactly does this drawing you just made mean?”

“Chen Shu” heard Xiao Gao’s words, and his eyes suddenly showed a hint of panic.

“Drawing? What… Oh, I… just doodled.”

But Chen Shu caught the subtle change in his expression.

And Chen Shu also saw the drawing in Xiao Gao’s hand.

In the drawing, there was a ‘temple’, and next to it was a rabbit squatting beside it, with three holes beneath the rabbit.
