Chapter 7

Chen Xu took me back to his place.

He lived alone in a luxury penthouse in the heart of the city. He had bought two adjacent units on the top floor and knocked down the walls to combine them; it was massive, yet felt incredibly empty.

I took a quick look around as we entered. There didn’t seem to be any traces of a woman ever having been there.

He turned off my phone and told me to go take a shower.

Afterward, we had some red wine on the terrace. I rarely drink, so I didn’t even know what I was like when I was tipsy.

As it turned out, drunk me was quite something.

I had pulled Chen Xu’s bathrobe open.

“I need to check first… to see if you’re clean,” I mumbled, my hands never stopping their movements.

Chen Xu seemed to try and stop me at first, but I glared at him and slapped his hand away. Eventually, he just sprawled back with his long legs stretched out, letting me do whatever I wanted.

Chen Xu’s physique was truly top-tier.

His skin was slightly tanned, and his muscles were firm and well-defined. Even in a relaxed state, he had a clear six-pack.

I reached out to poke them, then let my hand slide further down.

“Shen Ci…”

Chen Xu caught my fingers. His voice was husky as he warned, “Think carefully. One inch lower, and there’s no turning back.”
