Following Jia Fang’s instructions, Wang Ming followed the path behind the courtyard and gently pushed open the small back door.
He quickly crossed the backyard and tried the back door of the small two-story building. It was still unlocked.

“Did you used to make this for your husband too?”

They both took a sip. Jia Fang gently dabbed the corners of her mouth with a tissue, her eyes looking at Wang Ming with a seductive gaze.
“If you perform well, not only will I waive your rent, but I’ll also give you a reward.”
Wang Ming looked Jia Fang up and down, deliberately clicking his tongue. “If you perform well, I’ll pay you five years’ rent.”

Wang Ming looked around the large house. “How many square meters is this place?”

“How much is a house like this worth?”

Every half hour, a different light flickered on in the rooms across the first and second floors.
By one o’clock in the morning, every room had been lit.
