Chapter 4
Finding Tong Yuen wasn’t actually that difficult.
I managed to slip into the hospital room while the bodyguards at the door were switching shifts.
He was curled up on the bed, asleep, with an IV drip in his arm.
His bangs were a bit messy, his handsome brow was slightly furrowed, and there were damp tear stains at the corners of his eyes.
I gazed at his face, feeling as though I couldn’t breathe.
Yuen, what kind of dream are you having that makes you so sad?

“If you want him to suffer less, then let his heart die completely.”
I thought of an old story.
Two people were fighting over a child.
Both were pulling on his arms.
And the one who loved him more was the first to let go.
