In the bag Huo Qing brought, there were several oddly shaped bottles.

She used them to mix a bowl of Talisman Water, half black and half green, and told Zheng Qianfei to drink it.

This bowl of water looked even more terrifying than poison.

Zheng Qianfei asked nervously, “What is this for?”

Huo Qing replied succinctly, “To expel the Ghost Fetus.”

As soon as she said this, Zheng Qianfei’s belly surged upward violently, making her scream in agony.

Huo Qing’s eyes sharpened. Her fingers, like eagle claws, grabbed the head of the Human Ghost Infant inside Zheng Qianfei’s belly. She handed the bowl to Zheng Qianfei and urged, “Drink it, quickly!”

Gritting her teeth, Zheng Qianfei took the poisonous-looking water, intending to gulp it down.

“Crack-”

The bowl shattered into pieces, and the Talisman Water spilled all over Zheng Qianfei’s hand.

Zheng Qianfei’s eyes began to tremble.

She looked around in terror.

Huo Qing said, “Finally, it’s here!”

Unhurried, she pulled out a pitch-black, shiny rope from her bag and, in a few swift moves, tied Zheng Qianfei to the bed ladder, binding the Human Ghost Infant in her belly so tightly it couldn’t move at all.

After Ren Anran stuck on the Talisman Paper, she fainted from the pain.

I wanted to faint too, but unfortunately, I couldn’t.

I hid behind Huo Qing, like a quail.

The door lock slowly turned from the outside, and a man walked in.

He looked exactly like the photo-no, even more handsome than in the photo. No wonder Zheng Qianfei went crazy enough to want to have his child… Human Ghost, Human Ghost, he really looked just like a human, even his clothes were stylish…

“Classmate, can you let my wife and child go?”

Damn, and he even had a deep, resonant voice!

Huo Qing didn’t even blink. “You’re a ghost. Instead of going to the Underworld to have children with your wife, what are you doing running around in the Mortal World?”

Wu Ranjun said, “For the sake of reproduction, I have no choice.”

Huo Qing’s words were as cold and poisonous as ice: “Human Ghosts like you shouldn’t exist at all. When you give birth, others die. The sooner your line ends, the better.”

Wu Ranjun narrowed his eyes, and the air around him instantly turned icy cold. “So, there’s no room for negotiation?”

Huo Qing snorted coldly. “Negotiate what? Today, you and your son die together.”

I don’t know who made the first move, but by the time I reacted, the two of them were already fighting fiercely.

I hid under the table, wishing I could turn invisible.

Of all times, my phone started vibrating.

I picked it up and saw a scheduled WeChat message.

Huo Qing: [Go find the coffin. Human Ghosts are afraid of being exposed to coffins. There’s someone downstairs to assist you. Let him help. The coffin is probably buried here.]

A location pin was sent.

Looking at this message, I was on the verge of tears.

Huo Qing wouldn’t let me hide.

She had given me a task.

Heavens, she really thinks highly of me!

After hesitating again and again, I finally mustered all my courage, crawled out from under the table, and dashed out of the dorm room, racing downstairs at full speed.

My legs were running, my tears were flying in the wind, and my mind was trailing behind-I didn’t even know when I reached the ground floor, until someone grabbed my collar and asked, “What did Huo Qing say?”

Only then did I manage to stop running. “Huh?”

The person blocking my way was an uncle.

He asked anxiously, “Weren’t you sent to deliver a message?”

Only then did I remember-the text said someone would assist me.

“Uncle, are you the one helping me?”

The uncle was stunned for a moment, probably finding the term ‘helper’ a bit novel.

“I suppose so…” he replied.

I showed him Huo Qing’s message.

After reading it, the uncle decisively pulled out his phone. “Right, drive the excavator directly to this spot and dig for me. You must dig up the coffin. Don’t delay, do it as soon as possible!”

What a bold statement!

This is a school-how could they possibly let an excavator in?!

“It’s fine, I’m a School Trustee. I can make this call.”

The uncle put away his phone and took me to supervise the work.
