Song Feier felt a surge of immense satisfaction as she listened to the praise and flattery from these women.

She said bashfully, “Aunties, you’re overpraising me. I was just playing around while I had some free time at home.”

“Oh, if you can do this well just by ‘playing around,’ imagine what you could achieve if you actually got serious.”

“Exactly. Yurong, I heard the Second Young Master Fu isn’t married yet. Will he be coming today?”

Someone began to quietly inquire about the Fu Family, clearly hoping to use the Song family as a bridge to connect with them.

Li Yurong was glowing with pride from the attention. She smiled and said, “I’m not sure if Feier’s brother-in-law will make it, but Yanchen will definitely be here.”

“That’s for certain. Today is Old Master Song’s birthday banquet; President Fu will surely attend.”

Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, someone suddenly asked in confusion, “By the way, is the Song family’s Eldest Miss, Song Yunnian, coming?”

As soon as those words were spoken, everyone froze.

Our Song family sent her abroad long ago to fend for herself. It’s better if that disgrace to our family doesn’t come back, lest she embarrasses us further.”

Song Feier let out a soft sigh. “Sigh, my sister just took a wrong turn in life. Please don’t talk about her like that.”

Knowing the score, the crowd immediately chimed in. “Feier, you’re such a kind child. It was Song Yunnian’s own fault. But for her to not even return for Old Master Song’s birthday-that’s just inexcusable.”

Li Yurong and Song Feier shared a subtle, sinister smirk.

Back then, after they exposed Song Yunnian’s scandal and ruined her reputation in Yuncheng, they had sent her straight out of the country. Song Yunnian had likely died abroad long ago.

Song Yunnian was back? And she had started a jewelry company? Why didn’t they know about this?

Someone sneered, “I doubt the company will amount to anything. How could she possibly compare to Feier?”

“Exactly. The Song family has been more than kind to her. If it were my family, someone who disgraced us like that would have been kicked out and disowned long ago.”

Song Feier was at the height of her glory. Not only was she the future Madam Fu, but her business was also raking in money by the day.

Compared to her, Song Yunnian was a disgraced woman who had fled the country in shame and was now afraid to even show her face.
