“If you don’t let go, I’m going to get nasty.”

“And how exactly do you plan on doing that?” There was a hint of anticipation hidden in Fu Yanchen’s voice.

Damn it, he thinks I won’t actually do anything, doesn’t he?

The physical disparity between a man and a woman was significant. Song Yunnian was maliciously pinned down by him; she couldn’t get up, and the narrow sofa forced them into an intimate, tight embrace.

Song Yunnian gritted her teeth and bit down hard on Fu Yanchen’s neck.

The neck is the most vulnerable part of a person’s body, filled with major blood vessels. A slight mishap could lead to a ruptured artery and excessive blood loss.

Song Yunnian didn’t hold back at all. Her sharp teeth pierced his skin, and sweet, metallic blood immediately welled up.

She bit down with such force and ferocity that she nearly tore a piece of flesh away.

The sharp pain made Fu Yanchen gasp, and his muscles tensed instantly.

In the next second, Fu Yanchen rolled over with Song Yunnian in his arms, pinning her directly into the sofa!

During the movement, Song Yunnian had already let go.

Her beautifully shaped lips were stained with blood, giving her an indescribably bewitching and gorgeous appearance. She looked like a succubus who had just feasted on essence, breathtakingly beautiful.

Song Yunnian looked into Fu Yanchen’s dark eyes. “President Fu, have you had your fun? Can you let me go now?”

Their current position was even more intimate than before.

He was like an airtight wall, enveloping her and refusing to let her escape even an inch.

Fu Yanchen reached out, gently stroking her cheek. “If you want to trade your body to settle the debt,” he said in a deep voice, “then I accept.”

Song Yunnian’s mind exploded.

“No, President Fu, don’t misunderstand. This body of mine-having already given birth-isn’t worth fifty million at all.” Song Yunnian’s skin crawled. She was terrified that Fu Yanchen might actually lose his mind and take her right then and there.

Fu Yanchen raised an eyebrow. “What if I think it is?”

Song Yunnian choked. What? Fu Yanchen thought it was worth it?

“Think about Song Feier. Think about Fu Chengyi,” Song Yunnian said, trying her best to persuade him to abandon his crazy idea.

“Fu Chengyi has always wanted a new mother.”

“Uh…”

“Song Feier could disregard my reputation today and do something like that in public, so why should I care about her?”

Song Yunnian felt a headache coming on. She was the one who had set Song Feier up; hadn’t Fu Yanchen seen through it? Now he was acting like a cuckold to gain sympathy.

She never expected she would end up digging a hole for herself.

“Song Feier cheated on you, but you can’t just give up on yourself!” Song Yunnian finally managed to squeeze out those words after a long pause.

“Shh. Being with you isn’t giving up on myself.” Fu Yanchen gradually leaned closer to Song Yunnian. He cupped her face, his thin lips brushing against her cheek and slowly moving downward…

Song Yunnian froze instantly.

Fu Yanchen stopped at her neck, eventually burying his head in the crook of her shoulder.

Song Yunnian’s eyelid twitched. This is revenge!

Fu Yanchen was definitely angry about her biting him earlier, so he wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine.

Song Yunnian gritted her teeth and waited for the pain to hit. To her surprise, the expected pain never came. Instead, she felt the tickle of his breath against her neck.

What was going on?

She turned her head slightly, only to see that Fu Yanchen had closed his eyes and fallen asleep against her neck.

A million “what the hells” stampeded through Song Yunnian’s mind.

Are you kidding me? He fell asleep?

But he was still pinning her down, heavy as a mountain.

What was she supposed to do?

Song Yunnian reached out and nudged him. “Hey, Fu Yanchen, wake up.”

The man remained indifferent, seemingly sleeping soundly.

Song Yunnian bit her lip. Was he faking it or was this for real?

As the minutes ticked by, drowsiness set in. Song Yunnian also began to feel sleepy. Unable to resist, she closed her eyes and drifted off.

Once Song Yunnian’s breathing became long and steady, Fu Yanchen opened his eyes. His gaze was exceptionally sharp in the darkness.

Fu Yanchen shifted slightly to the side so he was no longer crushing Song Yunnian. Finally, he pulled her into his arms and closed his eyes.
