The whispers from the crowd continued to drift over, all centered on Song Feier’s connection to Fu Yanchen.

Most of the women were green with envy. Now that they had a chance to kick her while she was down, they naturally weren’t going to pass it up.

It was as if by dragging her down, they could take her place themselves.

Old Master Song didn’t want the two of them to keep bickering and make the Song family a laughingstock. He said in a low voice, “Feier, when you’re wrong, you must admit it.”

“Grandpa!” Song Feier looked at Old Master Song in disbelief. He usually doted on her the most; she never expected him to side with Song Yunnian now.

Seeing that Old Master Song had spoken, Song Zhiguo feared the elder would become dissatisfied with his family.

He immediately spoke up, “Feier, hurry up and kneel to apologize to your grandfather.”

Song Feier bit her lip, her face filled with humiliation and resentment.

But no one was helping her now; they were all just watching the spectacle.
