For a moment, I was dazed.

Only three years ago, Qin Shuang had been crying as she begged me: “Li Zhining, please just let me have Lu Huaixu, okay? I liked him first! You have so many pursuers, why do you have to fight me for him?”

By nature, I am a gentle person-low energy and highly sensitive. I hate direct confrontation, let alone fighting another woman over a man.

Their voices drifted over.

Lu Huaixu’s indifferent voice rang out.

“The more heartless I was to her, the better it was for her in the end. Isn’t this great? She’s become an outstanding person, and I didn’t hold her back. So, stop saying these meaningless things.”

“True, it’s all meaningless now. Look at how tight a leash your wife has on you. She never comes out, yet she insisted on following you today. To put it bluntly, she’s probably at the point where she wouldn’t let you go even if she caught you in bed with someone else! Hahaha…”

The group walked off laughing, leaving only Lu Huaixu and Xue Feng behind.

Xue Feng suddenly gave a short laugh.

“Did you know? Qin Shuang is still a virgin for your sake…”

A brief silence followed.

“Don’t talk nonsense!” Lu Huaixu barked coldly.
