Early on the weekend morning, I arrived at Fang Feiyuan’s house.

None of the classmates had arrived yet; only the Nannies were in the living room, arranging flowers and balloons for the celebration.

I had dressed with extra care today. The off-shoulder little black dress set off my fair skin, my hair was swept up high, and pearls adorned my bun, neck, and wrists, shimmering under the lights.

Fang Feiyuan’s eyes lit up the moment he saw me.

“Little simp, why are you so pretty today?”

I calmly avoided his outstretched hand and bowed slightly to the person behind him, “Hello, Uncle.”

Fang Feiyuan was taken aback and turned around.

Behind him stood a portly man in an expensive robe, frowning as he looked at me.

The Nanny beside him greeted respectfully, “Boss Li.”

And I greeted him silently in my heart-long time no see, Dad.

Boss Li brushed aside the Nanny who was in the way and strode over to me. He looked down at me for a moment, then turned to Fang Feiyuan, “Who is she?”

For a split second, my heart trembled quietly.

Fang Feiyuan replied, “My classmate.”

My dad sneered, “Classmate?”

He turned and glared at me, “Don’t think I don’t know who you are!”

I lowered my eyes, feigning panic.

The next second, I heard my dad say sternly, “You’re Fang Feiyuan’s girlfriend, aren’t you?”

Silently, I breathed a sigh of relief.

Everything was going according to my plan.

It had been twelve years; the child had grown into a young woman, and my appearance had changed dramatically.

My dad hadn’t recognized me.

I spoke softly, my voice tinged with just the right amount of fear, “No, Uncle…”

My dad snorted and looked at Fang Feiyuan, “Anyway, this isn’t the first time you’ve had a puppy love. I’m not bothering to deal with you. Take care of yourself.”

He pointed at me unceremoniously, “But if you keep bringing your girlfriend under my nose, don’t blame me for being rude.”

With that, my dad turned and left.

Fang Feiyuan came to my side, glaring angrily at my dad’s back.

“Old bastard,” he muttered under his breath.

I said nothing, quietly calculating in my mind.

Things were going pretty much as I’d expected. I could use Fang Feiyuan to get into this villa, but if I wanted to stay, I’d need another way.

And I’d already thought of that way.

After obediently helping the Nannies decorate the living room for a while, classmates began to arrive one after another. While Fang Feiyuan greeted them, I slipped away quietly, my gaze fixed on the innermost room on the second floor of the villa.

That was the room my dad had just gone to, and at that moment, loud scolding was coming from inside.
