My face went through a whole spectrum of expressions.

Just imagining the muscle-bound Lu Jingshen being… pinned down by someone-

I shook my head quickly, tossing those terrifying images out of my mind.

Looking at Qiao Xi’s expression, like she’d lost the will to live, I racked my brains to comfort her.

Awkward silence filled the air.

I rushed to comfort her.

“Xixi, you two might be different genders, but your preferences seem pretty much in sync.”
