Qiao Xi stood outside the door, her hair in a mess and her eyes swollen like walnuts.

The moment she saw me, her lips quivered and she let out a loud “Wah” before throwing herself into my arms.

She was sobbing so hard she could barely catch her breath.

“Wuwuwu… Lu Jingshen… he came out of the closet!”

She collided with me so hard I staggered backward, my mind struggling to process what she’d said.

“Wait, what? He cheated too?”

I blurted it out instinctively.

“No way! Isn’t he supposed to have gynophobia? Aside from you, touching any other woman gives him hives. Where would he even…”

Qiao Xi gritted her teeth.

“That’s why he came out!”

I grew even more confused. “Then how did you find out?”

Qiao Xi’s face turned from red to green to practically black, so colorful it defied description.

She took a deep, shaky breath, her voice trembling:
