I bit my lip and finally nodded.

There were three reasons for joining this club.

First, Teacher Zhang’s expectations;

Second, I really like ballet, and it’s a dream come true for me;

Third, the Ballet Club’s activity venue is a standalone two-story villa. The first floor has a dance studio, lounge, costume room, and makeup room. The second floor is where the club members live, and there’s even a private kitchen and entertainment room.

I wouldn’t have to pay for accommodation, which would further reduce my family’s expenses.

The hot-tempered Deng Xingxing wanted to say something, but was pulled back by the gloomy Cheng Youran.

Senior Cheng’s dark pupils stared at me, and she spat out a cold sentence:

“Why stop her? Something delivered to your door.”

After all, they were old members and I was a freshman. I didn’t want to get into any conflict with them, even if I felt this hostility was inexplicable. I still forced myself to endure it.

Although the Ballet Club has great benefits, there are very few people.

If I pass the test in a month, I can officially join the club and move in to live with them.

For now, I still have to stay in the regular six-person student dormitory.

With the start of the new semester, the girls who just finished the college entrance exam were full of energy, chatting in the dormitory.

“Hey, have you all signed up for any clubs?”

“I joined the Drama Club! So many handsome guys and pretty girls!”

“I got into the Student Union. The requirements are so high. During the interview with the seniors, I almost stuttered.”

A girl dressed head to toe in designer brands muttered, “I’m interested in the Ballet Club, but a senior I know advised me against it.”

Hearing this, I got curious and quickly asked, “Why?”

My roommate glanced around and lowered her voice:

“The senior said, my family is rich, so I don’t need to join that club.”

“Also, I heard that the girls in that club aren’t clean, and their reputation at school isn’t very good…”
