Novel Info

On the way, my classmates cast surprised glances at me.

It was the May Day holiday, so there were still many people at school. From time to time, I heard people whispering:

“Damn, someone came back from the chicken coop!”

“Wasn’t Ji Xia said to be the murderer? How did she come back?”

“The internet is blowing up, saying our school is copying the Seven Immortals Poisoning Case, and Ji Xia is the killer.”

“Let’s go, what if she goes crazy and kills us too?”

I listened to these knife-like words, walking dazedly toward my destination.

The dim, standalone Western-style building looked like a monster, waiting for me to walk right into its jaws.

The police had already searched every corner here.

The auditorium where the incident happened was sealed off, all related evidence from the club had been taken away, and the whole house felt a bit empty.

Just as I reached the door, I ran into the logistics teacher. He looked at me cautiously, keeping his distance.

“Ji Xia, you’re back?”

“The leadership wants you to go to the department to process your withdrawal. As soon as the May Day holiday ends, you should go right away…”

“Also, well, since three students died, you’d better not stay here these days.”

So, they were here to drive me out.

I tugged at the corner of my mouth. “I understand. I just wanted to have a look.”

Maybe my gaze was too cold; the logistics teacher took a step back. “Alright, then be quick.”

I gently pushed open the half-closed door of the practice room.

It felt like I saw them.

They were standing in the middle of the room, dancing gracefully.

Like three real white swans, ready to ride the wind and return home.

I couldn’t hold it in any longer and squatted down, sobbing uncontrollably.

Suddenly, the sound of “tap tap” footsteps echoed behind me.
