Chapter 1

“Let’s get a divorce. I don’t have feelings for you anymore.”

I shrank back, startled, like a frightened little rabbit.

“Why? Did I do something wrong?”

“If there’s anything I haven’t done well, just tell me. I’ll change, I promise-please, don’t divorce me.” I was already sobbing, begging him not to leave me.

But Gu Chen just looked at me, cold as ice.

“Once a woman is over twenty-five, she might as well be sixty-five.”

“Sleeping with you is no different than using my own right hand.”

“I’m just not interested in you anymore.”

Hearing my husband say that, my tears fell even harder.

He must really love me.

Even when he asks for a divorce, he says the opposite of what he means.

How would he know that once *he* passed twenty-five, he was already sixty-five himself?

Honestly, he hasn’t been able to satisfy me in bed for a long time.

Every time I tried to get him to go for a third round, he’d use some urgent excuse to escape.

I know he feels guilty about it.

But he’s my beloved husband.

I can’t bear to say anything that would hurt his pride.

I sobbed and threw myself into his arms.

“Don’t talk about yourself that way. I still love you, husband.”
